This build is a very beast master centered build. This means that you’ll need to use your pet and hold your distance, while firing like crazy at him.

If you’re doing PVP, and especially if you’re fighting rogues, use your traps.

A typically scenario would be something like the following:

CAST “Aspect of the Beast” – Boost Pet Damage
CAST “Hunter’s Mark” – Increase Ranged Damage
USE “Concussive Shot” – Slow Down Enemy
Make Pet Attack
USE Rapid Fire – Increase your firing speed

Rinse and repeat and move away from the enemy

If enemy is very aggressive, lay traps and move back. Finally, If things gets out of control then USE “Feign Death” to lower your agro.

Now, if you still think you could be leveling faster I think you should consider using a hunter guide. I’ve always been very happy with The Zygor’s Guide which actually is an add-on for WoW that places a BIG GPS like arrow beneath your hunter, showing you in which direction you should go.

Its sooo easy to level with such a guide. Plus there is an built-in class and talents build guide that helps you choosing the best build for your hunter.

Another thing is that you’ll see a written description of what to do next, like:

Obtain 5 Tempest Motes from Enraged Tempests for “Motes of the Enraged” at (46,10) and then you’ll see a dot on your minimap at that location.

So, as long as you follow that green arrow, you’ll get to where you need to go next and level insanely fast.

I managed to level a brand new hunter from 1 – 80 in 8 days of playing with this hunter guide.

Once I’ve got this guide, the first thing that struck me, was that it was an in-game guide and not just some eBook. What it do is that it runs inside WoW and put a large GPS-Like arrow beneath your character, that points in the direction you need to go for the next quest, enemies or items. It also tells you when to go and turn in quests.

It also put a written description of exactly what you need to do when you reach your destination, it looks like this:

1. Go Southwest to 80.46
a. Talk to Proenitus
i. Turn in “You Survived!”
ii. Accept “Replenishing the Healing Crystals”

Since I’ve implemented this add-on I found that I’m leveling much faster. It’s incredible. Now, it’s not all good, even though this guide really helped me a lot, there are still some things that could be better:

CONS:

In section 30-35 in the guide, I found some obvious errors. Remember this (These should be fixed soon, but keep an eye out anyway)
Sometimes there is a lot of grinding, which is kind of annoying.

PROS:

In-game Add-on prevents annoying alt-tabbing to view the guide.
When you purchased the guide you’ll get some cool bonus talent build guides.
The support is awesome. Period.
The Zygor guide is it is a complete add-on for questing and with the level breakdown in the guide you have a good idea where to start with an already existing character.
The Zygor Guide is the cheapest one out there and you’ll get even more for your money’s worth.

Final Thoughts:

If you find it hard to level at a decent pace and think that everyone else is leveling faster, you might want to consider using this Hunter Guide.

I’ve tried this guide out on all my different characters and it really does the job and help me level much faster.
